hi

my windows LAN is very slowly.
howto sniff switched LAN for problems and errors ?
what should i pay attention to sniff switched network ?
do I need ARP poisoning the network ?
could you tell pls something more about your experience ?

If you are having issues you can always do the usual scan for spyware, virii, etc. If you are dealing with a large lan environment then you might want to look at etheral to see what the traffic on your network is doing. Ettercap is a security / pen testing tool.

In order to sniff switched environment you will need to arp poison the network that belongs to you. If this network is not yours then you will go to jail and not collect 200.00 dollars
